What I collect, and how I handle it.

1. Who this covers

This policy explains how Sites by Ori (“I,” “me,” or “the studio”) handles the information you share through this website, including the website request form, the contact form, and any emails you send. It applies to this site only, not to any client website I build or to the third-party services those sites connect to.

2. Information I collect

When you submit the website request or contact form, I collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number (if given), and the project information you enter (goals, content, budget, timing, and similar notes).

I do not ask for sensitive personal information, and please do not include payment card numbers, passwords, or other confidential data in a form. Basic technical information, such as an IP address and standard server logs, may be recorded automatically by the hosting provider that serves this site.

3. How I use it

I use the information to respond to you, understand your project, prepare a scope, price, and timeline, deliver and support the work you hire me for, and keep records of our communication and agreements. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.

4. Service providers and sharing

I run this studio with a small set of trusted service providers, which may include website hosting and deployment, a database for organizing requests, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers only handle information as needed to perform their service, and each has its own privacy and security terms.

I may also disclose information if required by law or to protect legal rights. Apart from these cases, I do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Hosting and security providers may set essential cookies or keep operational logs needed to serve and protect the site. Any browser settings you use to limit cookies will not affect your ability to submit a form.

6. How long I keep it

I keep request and client information for as long as needed to work together and to maintain reasonable business, tax, and legal records, after which it is deleted or archived. You can ask me to delete information sooner, subject to records I am required to retain.

7. Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the information you share, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security. Your use of this site and its forms is also subject to the limitations described in the Terms & Liability.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask me what information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. To make a request, email me using the address below and I will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

This site and studio services are intended for adults and for students who are old enough to contract for services. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and I will delete such information if I learn it was provided.
